It’s an open secret where the state-sponsored CBC News stands on the Freedom Convoy protests in Canada. The CBC were the ones who tracked down “experts” to explain that the word “freedom” had been co-opted by far-right extremist groups. The CBC also ran a story suggesting that “Russian actors” were behind the Freedom Convoy. CBC Ottawa even found a veterinarian to explain how the convoy was placing added stress on pets.
So here we have CBC senior reporter Ashley Burke covering her news van getting towed out of a snowy ditch where it had gotten stuck. And who helped? A protester in a “Defund the CBC” hat.
