Former member of Congress and “rising star” Katie Hill, who threatened in a recent Twitter video that we’re going to be seeing a lot more of her, told CNN’s Chris Cuomo without irony that the House needs to show it’s going to ensure accountability, and that the Senate needs people with actual integrity as well.
Keep in mind, of course, that Hill resigned while facing an ethics investigation into allegations of improper relationships with her staffers, which she attributed to right-wing media and Republican opponents for putting her in that position, along with a misogynistic culture and a double standard.
Was she kidding about that double-standard thing? Alyssa Milano claimed that Katie Hill wouldn’t have had to resign if she were a man and, presumably, photos surfaced of that man brushing a staffer’s hair in the nude.
Milano made that claim to Chris Cuomo, who can’t seem to book any better guests than Hill, who’s looking for accountability and integrity on Capitol Hill.

Big ups to @ChrisCuomo for giving this disgraced ex-Rep. a platform to opine about "integrity!" https://t.co/jRIyLTZ5i7
— Jack Pandol (@jackpandol) November 23, 2019
Did she really just say that? What would she know about integrity?
— Clyde Marcantel, Jr. (@ClydeMarcantel) November 23, 2019
Yeah, that's probably why she's not working there anymore.

Says a fmr congresswoman who violated ethics rules she helped to enact.

This from a woman who violated ethics rules and resigned in disgrace. But by all means she should lecture others on ethics…

Woman who resigned from Congress after being accused of having a relationship with one of her staffers, which is prohibited, tells other people they need to have "actual integrity"

Irony is dead.

She's talking to a Cuomo about integrity. That's funny.
— John Gacinski (@johngacinski) November 23, 2019
I’m sure she’d be given this treatment if she were a male republican after banging staff members.
— Stop Making Sense (@Talkinghead2017) November 23, 2019
"Actual integrity"
So this pretty much excludes her.
— Keith ??? Burton (@bbeekk321) November 23, 2019
Why is she still getting so much air time?
— Brent Block (@BBlock19) November 23, 2019
Why are you giving her a platform?
— JMR Philomathia (@JMR1834) November 23, 2019
This is the equivalent of interviewing the female version of Jeffrey Epstein. Way to go Cuomo.

She used her position of authority to sexually exploit those who worked for her. Shame on everyone giving her a platform from which to obfuscate that reality.

Of course Cuomo with no challenge.
