If you claim to be a news agency, it’s never a good idea to sit on an interview that’s already in the can. That’s not a Graham Platner porta-potty reference, by the way. But he is the subject of a held-back NPR back-and-forth that was just released on Monday. Let’s say it hasn’t aged well in light of recent sexting revelations about the Nazi-tattooed Democrat Senate primary candidate from Maine.
Check this out. (WATCH)
NPR released a Platner interview today, filmed pre-sexting scandal:

"What the establishment Democrats think about me, that's their business...If people in the Democratic Party in other states don’t like me, that's not really my problem."
Welp. That’s not aging very well. pic.twitter.com/ObcKWddWDQ
There's got to be a word for the work NYTimes - Lulu Garcia... and NPR are doing here...

Nazi-washing?
Let’s just say if these ‘news’ agencies were a deodorant, they would be called Reich Guard.
It was revealed after the interview was recorded that Platner was sending sexually explicit texts to several women while he was married.
The Platner interview has aged like a 90 day old port-O-potty setting out in the sun.

With the sexting scandal, saying "warts and all" might be a Freudian slip...

I thought that too! Like what kind of warts graham!?!?!

We’re pretty sure that STDs are more worried about being infected by Platner than the other way around.
Commenters say Platner is shaping up to be a multi-tasking, well-rounded grifter and pervert.
No you’re a creepy pervert with an active KIK account who beats off in porta potties and makes disparaging comments about military heroes, rural Mainers, women and lies about your wealthy family ties. Oh and you’re collecting a military disability! Wow

He's a nepo baby Nazi larping as an oyster farmer.
— hil111 (@hil111c) June 1, 2026
So he likes Nazis, and is highly disrespectful, if not abusive to his wife for sexting with other women. With a character like that, you know he has probably beaten a few animals in his past. Do you think that might stop his support from the Democrats..? pic.twitter.com/epL01r45rR

What’s a little animal abuse when he’s already everything that Democrats lie about being against, and most can’t wait to propel him to the U.S. Senate?
Commenters say Platner has a West Coast doppelganger who was jettisoned from Congress and the California governor’s race in April.
This guy gives off really creepy vibes.

Dude looks like he hasn’t showered in a week.
— Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) June 2, 2026
Swallwell 2.0 Just look at him! He is NOT senate material. Sorry Maine. You can keep him. Our Congress doesn’t need this crap.
— RA224 (@224RMA) June 1, 2026
Swalwell didn’t have a Nazi tattoo to make him more appealing to hypocritical Democrats like Platner has.
Posters say expect more dirt to be revealed about Platner as the June 9 Democrat primary looms.
Imagine how juicy the stuff they’re still holding back is. 🍿
— Texas Boomer (@TheTexasBoomer) June 1, 2026
I imagine the pressure campaign is building with threats to release more and more. If he doesn’t take a deal and exit, look out.
— Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) June 1, 2026
As we discussed on Sunday, even if Platner drops out, he’s still on the Democrat primary ballot along with Janet Mills (she withdrew but is still on the ballot) and the little-known David Costello. The Democrat Party is stuck in the porta-potty with Platner no matter what happens next.
