Ryan Long stunningly and bravely reveals 'the harassment men have to deal with at the gym'

Last week, we told you about Twitchy content creator Jessica Fernandez and her dumb and defamatory video allegedly depicting her being harassed by a guy at the gym. The guy was of course not doing anything of the sort, but the opportunity for clicks and intention was just too great for Jessica to pass up.

After getting rightly raked over the coals, Fernandez deleted her video and promised to address it in a forthcoming response, which she eventually posted:

Here’s part of her response:

First of all, I want to apologize sincerely to the man at the gym where this all started. He didn’t do anything wrong to me and I blew our interaction out of proportion. I know many people think that I’m only apologizing because I got called out from the video I posted and this is half right. If I wasn’t called out for this video I wouldn’t have had the chance to learn from this mistake or even realize I made a mistake to begin with. When I first posted the video I felt I was completely in the right and I felt I was making a good attempt to connect and relate to my female audience who may have dealt with uncomfortable situations at the gym. And now after reading literally thousands of comments about me, the situation and the man in question it truly opened my eyes to how damaging this could have been for him. Men and women deal with very different problems in the realm of the opposite sex and after looking through the lens of an innocent man put in a situation like that. It honestly made me feel sick to my stomach with guilt.

Honestly, it should go without saying that yes, women do get creeped on or harassed by men at the gym sometimes. It’s been known to happen, and it’s wrong when it does. Nobody should be creeping on or harassing anyone at the gym or anyplace else for that matter. But women like Jessica Fernandez who care more about clout than they do about helping other women do actual victims of harassment a great disservice. They’re effectively making light of harassment, and they absolutely, 100% deserve to get called out for it.

That said, Long’s video is hilarious and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
