I get that some people need a good anniversary to dust off their favorite fairy tales, but this one’s been debunked harder than a three-dollar bill at a bank.
Twelve years after the Ferguson incident that launched a thousand riots and a cottage industry of grievance, a sitting member of Congress is still out here treating Michael Brown like some innocent choirboy gunned down in cold blood. Never mind that the Obama Justice Department itself spent months digging through every scrap of evidence, every witness statement, every forensic detail, and concluded that Officer Darren Wilson acted in self-defense. Brown had just robbed a store, charged the officer, fought for his gun, and kept coming. The physical evidence shredded the “hands up, don’t shoot” myth so thoroughly that even the most determined activists had to eventually pretend they never heard of it. Yet here we are in 2026, and the same old script is still running on loop. White supremacy! Police violence! Mass incarceration! As if the facts are optional when they get in the way of the narrative.
Rashida Tlaib really is just a whole new level of annoying and exhausting unto herself, you know?
Mike Brown should still be with us today.

But 12 years ago this week, he was murdered by a police officer in Ferguson. Our fight for justice and an end to white supremacy, police violence, and mass incarceration continues.

So, is she stupid, lying ... or both?
I say both.
That’s the man that attacked a police officer right after stealing from a conscience store right?

It’s almost impressive how dedicated some folks remain to a story their own preferred administration proved false. You’d think after a decade-plus of zero federal charges, zero indictment, and mountains of contradictory evidence, someone in elected office might decide that truth is more important than the perpetual protest machine.
But no. The show must go on. Because if you admit Brown wasn’t murdered, the whole “systemic” grievance industry starts looking like the cash-grab grift it’s always been. So instead we get the same recycled outrage, the same selective memory, and the same refusal to let a single inconvenient fact interrupt the performance.
I suppose when your entire political brand depends on keeping people angry and scared, accuracy is just a luxury you can’t afford.
