We’re not entirely sure what decade Ilhan Omar thinks it is or which country she lives in these days but her comments on ‘The Colbert Report’ about women being told to go slow and not be seen seem really backward … and stupid. Perhaps she needs to pretend people are angry with her because of sexism and racism instead of accepting she’s a train wreck.
Watch.
Women—especially women of color—have been told to go slow, to not be seen and to not be heard for many years.
We are not in Congress to be invisible. In the words of Congressman John Lewis, we are here to make good trouble. ?? pic.twitter.com/hJvMrRMbUS

Ilhan strikes again.
Making good trouble? Is that what you call disrespecting the largest and deadliest terror attack ever on American soil? Asking for a friend.

Dude, seriously.
Blah blah blah blah and BLAH.
Instead you chose the path to display your radicalism toward Jews & now against innocent Americans who lost their lives on 9/11. Undermining the 9/11 will definitely make trouble but I won't characterize it as "good trouble" when almost 3000 Americans lost their lives.

Actually, you're there to represent your constituents, not be the biggest anti-semite since Robert Byrd.

But she’s so oppressed, man!
If you’d quit saying such stupid stuff, people wouldn’t be trying to silence you.

She really is her own worst enemy.
On what planet?

Mission accomplished ?? but mostly just for yourself.

I think you are confusing what they say in your home country vs here? When the twitterverse yells "make me a sammich." No one actually means it. We're just revelling in the silliness of most of what you say.

Ouch.
Silliness is putting it nicely.
