It would appear our dear, sweet, kind, tolerant friends on the Left are going to deflect from the very real problem they have with certain elected Democrats making anti-Semitic statements by pretending anyone who is concerned with said anti-Semitism is Islamophobic.
And yes, in case you were wondering, everything is still stupid.
Like this tweet from Rep. Rashida Tlaib who was cranky with Rep. Steve Scalise for asking for Ilhan Omar to be removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Maybe Rashida missed it, but when Steve King got busted for making some questionable statements he lost his committee seats.
But you know, ISLAMOPHOBIA.
Hard to watch Rep. Scalise demand that Rep. @IlhanMN be removed from House Foreign Affairs w/o wondering if it’s steeped in Islamophobia. Ilhan is more than capable of sitting on the committee & making decisions that are in the best interests of her constituents & all Americans. https://t.co/MqzPM1G2FJ

Yes, because Omar being an anti-Semite is TOTALLY in the best interest of all Americans.
FFS.
Don’t forget, Rashida is the same woman who wrote for Louis Farrakhan’s newsletter back in the day.
Ahem.
Dana Loesch took issue with this tweet as well:
Holy cow this is a real, actual Tweet https://t.co/4c2XQyPeo4

From a real, actual Congresswoman.
Crazy, ain’t it?
Apparently Democrats are in the process of rebranding themselves with Louis Farrakhan as their new mascot, replacing Nast’s donkey.

Ouch.
This is a watershed moment for the Democrat party. They’re not fighting about condemning anti-Semitism anymore, they’re now united in defending it.

And accusing anyone and everyone who disagrees with them of being an Islamophobe.
Talk about a winning narrative, right?
