Full disclosure, this editor tried really hard to work all three of the terms Cara Santa Maria is complaining about in her tweet but it’s surprisingly difficult to virtue signal in a headline quite that much.
And c’mon, what did she think would happen when she went on Twitter and listed things she didn’t want to hear anymore? Did she really think people would say, ‘Oh you’re right, our bad’?
This thread is a perfect example of what NOT to do if you want people to stop using certain terms, phrases, and words:

Unless you disagree with self righteous victim narratives that destroy any possibility of reaching a conclusion to that discourse. Those terms are pretty spot on for what they represent both in terms of their symbolic and literal meaning to many people who cant stand them.

There are some people who are not racist, homophobe or bigot and who do not like to atribute all human interactions to a power struggle between groups. Rather we see all people as individuals, thats why we see all humans as equals.
