Journalists are the real victims, folks, and Trump is making it worse for them.
At least according to this op-ed from Washington Post by Jennifer Rubin:
Opinion: Journalists are at risk around the globe. Trump keeps adding fuel to the fire. https://t.co/dRh1WW6Mcj

You know the face you make when you’re standing behind someone in line and you’re pretty sure they passed gas but you don’t want to say anything but it’s REALLY BAD? Yup, just made that exact face.
Trump’s anti-press venom, which he tempered only briefly after the murder of five journalists in Annapolis a month ago, is the rhetoric of Stalin and modern-day thugs such as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Vladimir Putin of Russia (whose regime has been associated with the murder of multiple journalists), President Xi Jinping of China, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia and Egypt’s Abdel Fatah al-Sissi — on whom Trump routinely lavishes praise.
Wear a MAGA hat in Manhattan, LA, San Francisco, or pretty much any college campus and get back to me. https://t.co/ONQDosujUF

Now now, we all know the preferred narrative is that MAGA and Trump supporters, in general, are the real bullies. Especially those 16-year-olds who are eating at a fast food restaurant with their friend (notice how quickly THAT story disappeared).
Journalism refers to the the 'reporting' on recent events. Journalism applies to the occupation, using methods of gathering information and utilizing literary techniques. If Journalists reported and did not editorialize, they would not be distrusted.

How dare you tell the truth about what ‘journos’ have turned into!
Journalists have become political instead of being neutral in their reporting.

I'll do it, if you post the bail 😉

You know, they’d blame this guy for wearing the hat and bringing on the bullying and beating himself. It would somehow end up being his fault.

That’s all they have left.
