Why the ‘Conservatives Are Incurious’ Smear Is Pure Projection

Imgflip

For the first part of my life, I worked in academia. I was one of those Instructors who taught and went home and made friends with just a few other people I felt I could trust. I absolutely never shared my political affiliation because being a conservative was totally a problem. it still is.

That's why posts like this crack me up. They are just so sure they know all about what Christians and Conservatives think and why they make decisions about important topics and they really have no idea at all.

Let's break down Jade's comment. First of all, the Bible doesn't ever come right out and mention abortion. It talks about God forming us in our Mother's womb, counting our days, counting the hairs on our head, etc, but it never specifically addresses abortion.

Honestly, many people don't believe in abortion at all for very scientific reasons. For example, we can use a sonogram to see a heartbeat at six weeks gestation. That's pretty darn Scientific.

As far as immigration goes, Fox News has nothing to do with it. I do believe in respecting the laws of my country. The Bible tells me to do that. It says we are 'to give Caesar his due'. I also believe I should respect the laws of other places, too. That's why I don't go to other locales without a passport. I also think people who aren't Americans should respect the laws of our country. They should not come across our border without permission and they should leave when asked.

My dad and his siblings grew up in a small town in Appalachia with very little. At fourteen, they started working at the local grocery store. They bagged groceries, stocked shelves, and went to school, all while paying their own way. Through hard work, consistency, and opportunity, they kept getting promoted.

One uncle rose to become Vice President of that national grocery chain. My dad went on to become an account manager for a major food company. They built stable, successful lives and provided far more for their families than they had growing up.

That’s what capitalism made possible. Not theory. Not a political slogan.

Just real people, real effort, and a system that rewards ambition and grit. I didn’t need Reagan to explain it to me—I watched it happen at my own dinner table.

Leftists thrive on groupthink and that’s why so many are drawn to academia. It offers a comfortable echo chamber where everyone already agrees, and they can enforce that consensus on students who have little choice but to nod along or risk their grades. Dissent becomes dangerous to your GPA. For them, it’s the perfect setup: ideological conformity dressed up as education.
