Secretary of State Marco Rubio just released a video in Spanish explaining the torment of the Cuban people. He knows it well. His parents and grandparents and many other family members endured it.

Their suffering isn't because of the United States, no matter what influencers like Hasan Piker would like you to believe.
Rubio now full Orwellian: the total blockade that we have put on your country after decades of an embargo has nothing to do with the scarcity in your lives or the fact that we are intentionally starving your children. https://t.co/OLLHJfyo3E

Hamas is big mad. He hates to ever see a Communist dictatorship fall.
The child of Cuban exiles, now the American republic's chief diplomat, addressing the Cuban populace directly about the totalitarian dictatorship he escaped and they still live under, is one of those astonishing historical loops.

El año próximo en La Habana. https://t.co/V9ahfprzeC
It's a beautiful thing. It's what America is about.
We have a bitter son of exiles pursuing his own foreign policy on behalf of their agenda rather than what’s good for Americans https://t.co/1Fr1e46UKV

The usual suspects are seething over Marco Rubio’s recent wins. Zaid blasts Rubio for supposedly pursuing personal vengeance against Cuba because of what his family suffered under Castro. Yet the same Zaid rails every single day against America’s alliance with Israel, convinced it has harmed his people. Funny how that works. If the US announced charges against Netanyahu tomorrow, Zaid would be dancing in the streets. Personal trauma and ethnic grievance are apparently valid motives for some causes—but not others.
I genuinely want this guy to become president 2028 https://t.co/EJ33J7Cmte

Remarkable similarities between Iran under the Islamic Republic and Cuba under the Communist Party.

May both evil, corrupt regimes fall and may the people of both countries be liberated and, once again, friends of the United States. https://t.co/G04eryMxsw
One day soon, may liberty-loving citizens once again walk proudly in their homelands, liberated from oppressive and dehumanizing rule.
You’re going to see Trump overthrow the Cuban regime during the summer and permanently alter the voting habits of Latinos in the United States https://t.co/IScYA5fdPc

It’s almost time. Freeing Cuba is America First. Vanquish the communists and make it our territory. It’s in our strategic interests now and in the future. As an added bonus, it’s good for the Cuban people who desperately want to be free to vote for a right wing government again. https://t.co/AXQu3kZVgf
