Former first lady Jill Biden is now promoting her upcoming memoir that will be released early next month. Perhaps "memoir" isn't even the right word. Considering the amount of gaslighting that's going to be in the book, maybe it should instead be called an "I Don't Remem-oir." Based on Biden's recent remarks, we're going to be expected to once again not believe what we saw and heard with our own eyes and ears over the four years the Bidens were in the White House.
NOW the "truth" can be told:
In her book, Jill Biden writes that while watching the debate she wondered if Biden had been “drugged”?

“Is this a stroke? I felt like we were watching an AI hologram of the man we knew, and the hologram was glitching.”

Jill was so concerned that her husband might have had a stroke that she was soon at a rally chanting "four more years" while Joe looked around like he didn't know where he was.
Former First Lady Jill Biden previously said she thought then-President Biden did a “great job” after his 2024 debate. She now tells CBS News that she thought he was “having a stroke.” https://t.co/JVINZzMu0h pic.twitter.com/O2e7mgsSIo

There are two distinctly different takes from Jill Biden: One from a couple of years ago vs. the story she's telling in her book.
So…she lied to everyone?

Did CBS News press her on that? https://t.co/fuApssisFT
The answer to that is nope!
There seem to be some reasons Doctor Jill wanted this particular alleged journalist talking to her:
They didn’t choose CBS. They chose Rita Braver — an interviewer Jill Biden knows well and trusts. This was Jill's FOURTH sit-down with Braver for CBS Sunday Morning. It was a very predictable and safe space for them to go. https://t.co/nqGqHE9SKE

An actual reporter would have had some flashback quotes at the ready, but not this one:
Jill Biden’s new interview with CBS News’ Rita Braver — when the former First Lady said she feared Joe Biden was having a stroke during the 2024 presidential debate — underscores how “my colleagues in the media continue to be part of the conspiracy of silence” about Joe Biden’s… pic.twitter.com/r6HMOn6h8y

What is notable about Jill Biden's interview with CBS's Rita Braver is the lack of confrontation over the statement: “As I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh, my God, he’s having a stroke.’ And it scared me to death.” This would seem a basis for a good follow-up: https://t.co/5EIynUlg7q

As usual, the evidence of media bias can more often be spotted in what they don't say and not just in what they do mention.
Asking uncomfortable follow-up questions would mean practicing actual journalism. Something the modern media no longer does.

Actual journalism is exceptionally rare. Jill Biden clearly knew where to go to avoid any chance of that happening.
