The demise of the Colbert show reminds me of the Dems' reaction to what caused them to be wrecked in the 2024 election. They refuse to see what happened and would make the same mistakes all over. Clinging to their talking points while sinking beneath the waves is more important than facing reality and staying afloat.
The Left is doing the same thing with their blame game over the end of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Instead of facing reality, it's easier to blame Trump and a network that got tired of losing $40 million a year on TDS shtick, which alienated at least half the country.
Democrats and the lib media have lost one of their favorite propaganda outlets:

It’s a total mystery why CNN personalities are so devastated by CBS canning Colbert pic.twitter.com/0K4tUyYKDO

Well, they've still got Kimmel, Meyers and others -- for now.
Of course, Colbert's years being a beacon of truth meant having to lie on behalf of the Democrats:
This is one of numerous bits that Stephen Colbert did before the 2020 election to discredit Hunter Biden's laptop.

His show was just a propaganda arm of the DNC.pic.twitter.com/MRNo7N2GvE
Colbert, Kimmel and others applauded and pushed for censorship back then, which is why it's so pathetic watching them try to wrap themselves in the First Amendment because Trump calls them names.
But Colbert did get one final bit of revenge on CBS over the network getting tired of losing tens of millions of dollars a year to broadcast what was basically DNC-TV.
Stephen Colbert used copyrighted 'Peanuts' music during his finale for 'The Late Show,' saying, “Oh no, I hope this doesn't cost CBS any money!” Watch:https://t.co/NBd516OyT8https://t.co/NBd516OyT8

Stephen Colbert got his band to play licensed music during his final show so CBS would be sued for using the music illegally.

Oh, that'll show 'em! How stunning and brave. I just can't understand why CBS was looking for a way to get rid of that guy.
Your reminder that Colbert lost his network $40M annually while he believed his job was a charity… https://t.co/cYtbJ2h45P

The level of entitlement that's been dripping from late night hosts could fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
One more thing:
Stephen Colbert thanks the CBS affiliates across the country after 11 years of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." https://t.co/esDOKa4EpW pic.twitter.com/LDnRS91AdN

I worked at a CBS affiliate for 20 years and am happy I left about 13 years before the final death plunge of late night "comedy" started to accelerate in the era of TDS.
Have blessed Memorial Day weekend, all, as we honor our fallen patriots.
