Dr. Anthony Fauci has already declared himself to be “The Science,” and it’s looking like “The Science” might have even more explaining to do:
Records reviewed by CBS News indicate the U.S. government may have paid twice for projects at China’s Wuhan labs through the National Institutes of Health and USAID. A probe into the funding is raising questions about the use of the money. pic.twitter.com/yvyomEFV0K

Paging @RandPaul .. looks like you have a Daily Double bonus! Proof that Fauci lied, AND a leadoff item for Festivus this year!

While that story develops, before I get to how Fauci is spinning the news that COVID-19 likely emerged from a Wuhan, China lab, remember how hard he worked to keep that theory labeled as “misinformation”:
New emails uncovered by House Republicans probing the COVID-19 pandemic reveal the deceptive nature of Dr. Anthony Fauci.
They show he “prompted” or commissioned — and had final approval on — a scientific paper written specifically in February 2020 to disprove the theory that the virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China.
Eight weeks later, Fauci stood at a White House press conference alongside President Donald Trump and cited that paper as evidence that the lab leak theory was implausible while pretending it had nothing to do with him and he did not know the authors.
Fauci gets plenty of exercise every day by moving some heavy goalposts (when a word or term is suddenly inconvenient, just redefine it), and now he’s claiming that even if the virus did emerge from a Wuhan lab, that could still count as a “natural occurrence.” No, seriously:
JUST IN – Fauci Now Says A Lab Leak Could Still Be Considered As Coming From Natural Origins
"A lab leak could be that someone was out in the wild maybe looking for different types of viruses in bats, got infected, went into a lab, and was being studied in a lab, and then came… https://t.co/iocm9lHsCH pic.twitter.com/zmPcwIcQmC

That guy does so much dodging that he should be Biden’s next press secretary.
Who has two thumbs and is shameless? THIS doctor:
Fauci joined CNN’s Jim Acosta on Saturday and speculated how a coronavirus lab leak could have occurred.
“A lab leak could be that someone was out in the wild, maybe looking for different types of viruses in bats, got infected, went into a lab, and was being studied in a lab, and then came out of the lab. But if that’s the definition of lab leak, then that’s still a natural occurrence,” Fauci said.
If that guy does any more spinning he’s going to have to start taking Dramamine by the handful.
I'm getting whiplash watching this guy jerk everyone around

“One possibility is a bat bit a mouse that bit a human who worked in a lab w/a virus on a marmot which escaped to a wet market & got snatched by a flying squirrel that bit a human & started a pandemic as a natural occurrence…
Another is an engineered virus escaped from a lab.”

Damn, I didn’t think his lies could get much worse.

And we certainly haven’t seen the last of them.
Here’s the whole clip of Fauci doing a spin job on CNN:
