There’s a big “exclusive” at the Daily Beast about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and his “Secret Twitter Army of Far-Right Influencers”:
There’s a lot in that article to unpack, and Christina Pushaw did just that and then tossed it into the shredder of reality while exposing another example of modern “journalism”:

The use of “anonymous sources” seems to be on the rise and of course this hit piece was no different:

Shocker! Sourcing these days can tend to be like something from Ferris Bueller: “My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it’s pretty serious.”
If he had a recruitment pitch he’d have printed it. This needs to be retracted.
