Last year Democrats and the media (as always, pardon the redundancy) said that photos and videos taken at the border showed U.S. Border Patrol agents “whipping” Haitian migrants at the border.
At the time President Biden had this to say:

Department of Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas pushed the narrative while laughingly saying he wouldn’t pre-judge the matter:

Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters said that migrants being whipped (which didn’t happen) was worse than slavery:

Fast forward several months, and guess what — the “whipping” and “strapping” claims were complete BS. That comes after a CBP investigation:
