As we told you earlier, a black female student at a school where Karen Pence teaches who accused three white male students of assaulting her and cutting her hair recanted the story and is now saying she lied. However, her original claim had many in the media doing what they do best: Running with a story without fully checking it out because it fit a desired narrative. Here’s a video montage via Grabien Media founder Tom Elliott showing the initial MSM feeding frenzy:

Another banner moment for “journalism”:
The girl's family apologized today for the 12-year-old's completely false report. Corporate media were too willing to run with it and smear the school community before checking facts, as per usual. https://t.co/HxZSlOg4GW

And yet they still wonder why there’s such a high level of distrust of the media?
They reported on this story so strongly because they wanted it to be true. It fit the narrative.
If only there were a class of individuals who could look into a story and determine the veracity of the claims. That would be so cool!— duck_on_a_bike (@HartsockRob) September 30, 2019
They reported it as fact. If they cover the hoax, they will gloss over or ignore their roll in it.

And oops, she recants her story. BOOM

"Incidents like this are not isolated, they're happening way too often."
That's right if you mean incidents like the spreading of lies to create racism where none exists, and the media spreading those lies without asking any questions. https://t.co/EReHmLU5gw

How many times!? Stop reporting divisive rumors. You can't just say "INFLAMMATORY THING?" and be off the hook when it's fake. https://t.co/CsFDGKUoI9

And as a comparison:
