Director/actor/Resistance charter member Rob Reiner, who recently did the most “1960s progressive” thing ever by defending the honor of former heads of the CIA, has been further Trump-troubled by the president floating the idea for a military parade:
He wants a military parade to show his strength. But is unwilling to lift a finger to protect US from an invasion from a foreign enemy power. The longer he turns his back on this reality & the GOP rejects patriotism, the closer we get to the end of self government.

We assume Reiner’s definition of GOP “patriotism” involves removing the president from power, but the way his tweet is worded provides a bit of backfire:
