The U.S. Senate is set to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer had this to say ahead of the vote:

Three Republicans will vote in favor of Judge Jackson’s confirmation, and Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois really appreciates the GOPers who “rose above the partisan fray”:
DURBIN: "Thankfully, there are members in the Senate who are willing to rise above the partisan fray. I want to particularly commend Senator Susan Collins of Maine, Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Senator Mitt Romney of Utah for their political courage." pic.twitter.com/1sHcRKAtxV

Did Sen. Durbin praise Joe Manchin for “rising above the partisan fray”? Of course not. “Political courage” is always a one-way street.
Durbin would never ever ever ever vote for a Republican nominee. Ever. https://t.co/ODMzhNXgOR

When it comes to Mitt Romney, he was against Judge Jackson before he was for her, much to the delight of Democrats.
A few days ago this was how Sen. Romney let everybody know that he intended to make the Democrats happy:
I intend to vote in support of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation to be an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. My statement: pic.twitter.com/uGaxx8sJn5

Did that surprise anybody?
