Surprising no one, Sen. Mitt Romney released a statement Monday indicating his intention to vote yes on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court.
I intend to vote in support of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation to be an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. My statement: pic.twitter.com/uGaxx8sJn5

Some people are noting that Romney last summer was a “No” vote on confirming Jackson to be a U.S. Circuit Judge … so what changed his mind?
Romney opposed KBJ's nomination to a lower federal court less than a year ago, which means he didn't decide to support her for SCOTUS until *after* he learned of her horrifying history of going easy on child molesters and pedophiles. https://t.co/w2DipvNg19 pic.twitter.com/EVQ0nIRkGY

The Left has dedicated itself to the use of the Supreme Court as a tool for its social justice agenda for decades, so this is unacceptable stupidity https://t.co/1OokyELSwy

He’s running for President in 24 and thinks the country wants a moderate, he’s dead wrong, but I’ll guarantee that is his plan.

He's the new John McCain. No thanks.

Can we swap Romney for Manchin? Win-win

Well, he is The Lincoln Project's boy so it makes sense

Sounds like he found a reason to like her. What’s in his closet?

I don't think Mitt Romney can be used as a reliable measure of reasonable political discourse. Losing like he did in the presidential election should preclude him from saying anything of political consequence. Why conservatives keep him around is a modern mystery.

As people have said above, Romney probably doesn’t want accusations of racism leveled against him when he runs in 2024 … as a Republican?
