James Talarico has a vision for America, and it involves treating grown adults like they’re still sitting on a colorful rug waiting for snack time. The Texas Democrat running for Senate floated the idea that we should run the world the way we run a kindergarten classroom, because apparently we’re all just oversized five-year-olds who need a teacher to keep the peace. Andrew Kolvet clipped it, and the reaction wrote itself: if your governing philosophy is “nap time and sharing is caring,” you probably shouldn’t be anywhere near a Senate office.
