As we told you yesterday, actor Jussie Smollett was sentenced to 150 days in jail after having been previously convicted of faking a hate crime in Chicago. During the sentencing, Judge James Linn pretty much roasted Smollett, telling him that he lied to responding officers and hasn’t stopped lying since.
Among politicians and others who rushed to the defense of Smollett before all the facts were known was then-presidential candidate Joe Biden, who still has a tweet up:
Well…this aged very badly. I'm surprised they haven't deleted this yet.

Can a White House reporter — perhaps Fox News’ Peter Doocy — please ask Jen Psaki at the next briefing if Biden stands behind this tweet?
What happened today to @JussieSmollett must never be tolerated in this country. We must stand up and demand that we no longer give this hate safe harbor; that homophobia and racism have no place on our streets or in our hearts. We are with you, Jussie. https://t.co/o8ilPu68CM

Yep, that has aged nicely! And it should stand as yet another example of the narrative being all that matters to people like Biden & Harris.

THANK GOD the man responsible for this horrible hate crime was found guilty and is behind bars! https://t.co/88BiF3ripe

Yes, somebody at least alert the president that the perp has been brought to justice!
