As we told you yesterday, actor Jussie Smollett was sentenced to 150 days in jail after having been previously convicted of faking a hate crime in Chicago. During the sentencing, Judge James Linn pretty much roasted Smollett, telling him that he lied to responding officers and hasn’t stopped lying since.
Among politicians and others who rushed to the defense of Smollett before all the facts were known was then-presidential candidate Joe Biden, who still has a tweet up:
