As Twitchy told you Saturday morning, a policy adviser for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez flat-out lied on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show when he denied parts of the Green New Deal ever appeared in the proposal’s FAQ. Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff subsequently tried to do some damage control, but to no avail.
The bottom line is that Team AOC was caught peddling BS after being embarrassed by their own Green New Deal FAQ, but if Democrats know anything, it’s that the media will more often than not have their backs. Here’s another example:
This is a really embarrassing headline @businessinsider pic.twitter.com/akg7NiY6w9

Conservatives Attack!https://t.co/f869nCArxO pic.twitter.com/iqVjkTc3jn

Does that sound familiar?
Would @businessinsider say conservatives pounced?

This is why no one trusts the media.
"Conservatives pounce"
No, normal people called it out for what it was and outlets like @businessinsider are sweeping it under the rug and calling it a "mistake" to protect the media darling.https://t.co/T5BlKlUilg

There are many valid criticisms of the media, but one of them isn’t that they’re unpredictable.
"vague"??

How is "Economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to work" vague? Progressives are pretty clear about what "economic security" means to them.https://t.co/CaHliQxszw pic.twitter.com/GfxG7ZK8D4— Jeryl Bier (@JerylBier) February 9, 2019
I’m not sure if there’s anyone left who still denies mainstream media are propagandists for the left, but if so I pity them. https://t.co/tghxjGOPyz
