Nick Fuentes and Hasan Piker are a great example of the horseshoe theory, where the extremists on both the Left and Right eventually come together. Piker is an antisemite who claimed that America deserved 9/11 (which he's now claiming he personally apologized for) and that Hamas is "a thousand times better" than Israel. Fuentes is a white supremacist Holocaust denier and unofficial leader of the "groypers." They're both terrible people with huge followings online.
The Bulwark's Cathy Young wanted to know whether a clip of Piker's show being passed around was real.

Piker doesn't just get puff pieces and editorial space from French's employer. He's also been featured often on CNN, most recently as part of CNN Senior Correspondent Donie O’Sullivan's special, "The Whole Story: The Left Insurgency." He's also been profiled in Vanity Fair, which invited him to its Oscar party.
The New York Times also published an opinion piece by Ezra Klein titled, "Hasan Piker Is Not the Enemy."

Ideologically, there isn't much difference between the two. But Republicans have rejected Fuentes, while French's employee has Piker on its podcast and gives him space for an op-ed on "why petty theft may be the new political protest."
