Ah, the ATF. It was just last month when ATF Director Steven Dettelbach was asked at a hearing to define “assault weapons” in 15 seconds, and like Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson when asked what a woman is, admitted to not having the expertise to answer.

A couple of weeks later, Dettelbach reminded Congress that “I don’t hold myself out as a technical expert in every aspect of firearms.”
On May 4 — Star Wars Day — the ATF reminded us that straw purchases are bad:
On May the fourth, ATF reminds everyone not to lie and buy a firearm stating the gun is for you when it is for someone else. It’s called straw purchasing and could land you in jail for years. We’ll take the ATF seriously the day it hauls in Hunter Biden for lying on his background check form. Maybe we should report that as a tip:
We look to those who live in communities we protect to provide us with information about gun violence or other violent criminal behavior. Go to https://t.co/A0HUavEUYG for more information and to download the Reportit® app. #ATFTips pic.twitter.com/TQN7uDZD45

If you actually focused on violent criminal behavior, I would be fine with your existence! But you don’t, you harass and try to stick felons on the gun community that are 99.9% exceptional people, with power that you were not imbued with. Chevron was not for criminal penalties.

Who's name at the ATF should I report first?

Abolish yourself, gun control is unconstitutional.

Just like with red flag laws, we’re sure there’s no way gun-grabbers will abuse the Reportit® app to harass their law-abiding gun-owing neighbors because guns make them uncomfortable.
I'd like to report a bunch of violent criminals 👇🏼👇🏼

Hey I know of some people who gave weapons to Mexican cartels …. oh wait that was you guys.

“That you protect”. Is part of that “protection” creating a “rule” that will turn millions of law abiding citizens into felons for owning, possessing, and using an object that for 10 years the ATF said was legal? If so, you suck at your job and should be disbanded.

ATF should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

You pulling agents off the streets to make dogs, children, and pregnant wives safer?

The ATF is just another three-letter agency that needs to be disbanded.
