On Wednesday, we told you how Yahoo News reporter Tom LoBianco tweeted that House Republicans had quickly embraced two new “anti-abortion” measures. What were those two anti-abortion measures? One was a resolution condemning attacks on crisis pregnancy centers and churches … only three Democrats could bring themselves to condemn firebombings and vandalism. The other, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, required that babies who survived a botched abortion were to receive medical care. Democrats literally argued that a hospital could be hours away and “could be detrimental to the life of that baby.” Um, your proposal is to leave the baby to die unattended — how is that not detrimental to the life of that baby?
That’s what has Rep. Hakeem Jeffries so up in arms. Extreme MAGA Republicans are trying to condemn churches being vandalized. But that’s not all … they’re trying to “impose government-mandated pregnancies on the American people.”

🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ yeah cuz the government is just out here forcing people to have sex lol
— Alexis (@realacowdell) January 12, 2023
If only there was a way to avoid pregnancy.
— George Vuckovich (@PGH_Geo) January 12, 2023
It’s real simple, don’t have sex
— Eric Lockhart king/supreme ruler (@DaddySunshine1) January 12, 2023
What if I told you there were ways to avoid pregnancy altogether?
— Angry Arizonans (@AArizonans) January 12, 2023
Absurd, and who's doing the insemination of these Americans?
— William Miller (@bellevueidaho) January 12, 2023
The government isn't forceably impregnating anyone. This is out of control.

It's almost like the Republicans are just walking around injecting sperm into unwilling vaginas.

If this is their best argument, that's just fine with me.

@RepJeffries I didn't know that having sex was mandated. You know that, the most likely cause of pregnancy is sexual intercourse, right?

This guy is known for his unhinged remarks, laced with hyperbole and disinformation.

Wonder if he pulls muscles reaching like this.
— Ruth’s Potty Mouth (@ThatRuthMFR) January 12, 2023
The democrats literally voted against providing life saving care if an infant is born and survives an abortion, basically murder. Extemerely radical position and evil.
— RogueStamp3de💭 (@Roguestamp3de) January 12, 2023
No, it’s MAGA Republicans who are extreme. Normal Americans are all for leaving a baby to die. That’s moderate.
"Abortion care."

Maybe Jeffries is mixing up “The Handmaid’s Tale” with reality. Government is not, and will not, mandate pregnancies. What an orator … Obama 2.0.
