On Monday I did a post about the New York Times report that the FBI had as many as eight informants embedded within the Proud Boys around January 6. The way the Times phrased it, the news raised questions about “how much federal investigators were able to learn from them before and after it took place.” That sounds like it should read, “how much the Proud Boys were able to learn from the FBI informants.” I got heavy “Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping” vibes from the piece. What was the ratio of informants to actual Proud Boys? Plus, the FBI had informants embedded with the Oath Keepers as well. Last September, the New York Times reported that the FBI had at least one informant marching with the Proud Boys on January 6.
And as our own PolitiBunny wrote yesterday, FBI Director Chris Wray, when asked twice, would not say whether FBI agents or informants dressed like Trump supporters were inside the Capitol before the doors were opened on January 6.

And?
Christopher Wray can't just say "No."
Because the truth is "Yes." https://t.co/Y5c1xfmj6z

Former MSNBC host Krystal Ball wants to know why the hell the FBI didn’t prevent January 6 if it had all of these informants in place:
What a mess. Fed had informants with the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers. So why the hell didn’t they prevent Jan 6? https://t.co/Unq9VceqhU

Because they didn’t want to prevent it. https://t.co/LBde8LYN1W

Have we gotten to the part where Pelosi knew all about this scam?

Because they were there to make sure it happened.

They wanted to encourage it and then exploit it for partisan political purposes because they are the law enforcement arm of the Democrat party.

Because they actually instigated it….?

They're very good at letting it happen on purpose.

Correct they wanted it to happen, and they knew it probably would be controlled in a few hours.

I forgot, what happened to the black Antifa guy who videod the whole thing, encouraging people to riot, and sold the edited video to CNN?

Pelosi made sure her daughter caught it all on camera for political purposes. @jaketapper

Trudeau had the same playbook with our convoys up here. Theatre to misinform and galvanize public opinion.
It's falling apart on them though through the public inquiry.— ABfreethinker (@ABfreethinker) November 16, 2022
You're almost there, Krystal.

Hi.
I’m Dan.
I’m here to encourage you to take this thought one step further.
It’s ok. We’ve all had that moment where if we turn the page we might not like what we find.— Tandy (@dantypo) November 16, 2022
VERY good question. Glad you are asking it, but some of us have been asking for years. Glad to welcome you to the party, though.

Last week we learned that January 6 committee staffers were told the committee’s final report would focus mostly on Donald Trump and that the contributions of those looking into law enforcement and FBI failures were essentially going to be overlooked. Shocker!
