As you learned Tuesday, the governors of Texas and Mississippi announced that they’re lifting the mask mandates in their states and allowing businesses to reopen at full capacity. President Biden, who on Tuesday said that he hopes the country will be back to normal “by this time next year,” weighed in, calling it “Neanderthal thinking.”
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was also asked about Texas reopening and said that the entire country has paid the price for political leaders who “ignored the science.”

You guys won’t even open the schools even though the science suggests reopening is 100% safe, so don’t talk to me about “science”

Lots of people have suffered, including small business owners and school students.
So have kids at the hand of politicians who ignore the CDC recommending school openings and contract tracing showing that schools pose one of the lowest transmission risks. https://t.co/S6SYrjvuxG

Correct, @POTUS should have pushed hard from day 1 to get schools fully re-opened, as @POTUS45 had been advocating. Fact is, handful of Dem-led states are holding this up in a bid for hundreds of billions of taxpayer funds that they wouldn’t need if they weren’t so corrupt.

Remember, it was a “mistake in the communication” when Psaki explained that Biden’s idea of schools being open was more than half of them having in-person instruction one day a week by the end of April. Why doesn’t Psaki circle back on that?
So based on that logic, why are we ignoring the science around re-opening schools??

Because "science" is the left's equivalent to "because God said so." Don't engage, just silence all dissent and shame them as non-believers.

People ‘feel’ better about shopping. Boy that’s really scientific! ?
— GolfGirlTexas ??⛳️???? (@GolfGirlTexas) March 3, 2021
Yep. Nearly all politicians ignored the science, and it deeply harmed America. All Democrats and most Republicans. We've had a mere handful of decent politicians who have actually followed the science. Ron DeSantis. Andy Biggs. Thomas Massie. Rand Paul. Only a few others.

Really? Because those state economies are thriving and their curve is the same.

The science says to open the economy.

Nah, we've been doing pretty good here in Texas… kids in schools, sports taking place, never really stopped eating in restaurants… We good.
— Thomas Roach (@TRoach99) March 3, 2021
People are still free to wear as many masks as they want. After all, it's a free country. At least in TX.
— Liz Mac (@TheLizMac) March 3, 2021
We honestly don’t even know what the latest recommendation is: two masks? Three masks? The science keeps changing.
