Here's video of Beto O'Rourke insisting you will be selling your AR-15 'back' to the government

As Twitchy reported on Saturday, 2020 hopeful Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke announced that if you own an assault weapon, you will be selling it “back” to the government when he’s president.

The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra tracked down video of that exchange, and yes, O’Rourke specified the AR-15 as one of those “assault weapons” that American citizens will be banned from owning. We know we did a post on this already, but seeing him say it on video really gets across the chilling, authoritarian nature of what he’s proposing, even if it sounds like it’s coming out of Howdy Doody’s mouth.

Um, follow-up question for Mr. O’Rourke:

Hey, that’s our name. Call him “noodle arms” or something.

Please … be as honest as you like about tramping Second Amendment rights … it’s important for voters to know you’re serious.

Um, follow-up question for Mr. O’Rourke … how much will the government be paying to “buy back” an AR-15? From what we’ve heard, you’ve seen then going at gun shows for a steal: $395 “for a lifetime” (does that mean ammo is included?).
