The Hill reports Monday that President Obama will take some time after he leaves office to get back in tune with his center — which we imagine is well to the left of where most Americans keep theirs — in order to better “process what’s happened.”
The president reportedly told CNN’s David Axelrod during an interview for his podcast that he will “be quiet for a while. And I don’t mean politically, I mean internally. I have to still myself.”

Being quiet externally is good, too. Rest that voice while Twitter fills you in on just what’s happened.
Perhaps someone should have told you, you lost nearly 1,000 down-ballot seats before 2016 even began…this didn't just start this year https://t.co/TqLfe1bvRu

Being quiet sounds like a great idea, although The Hill doesn’t specify in its report if Obama told that to Axelrod before or after going on about the third term in office he certainly could have won had he just articulated his vision properly. How much more does he need to get off his chest before he stills himself and commits to that pledge of quiet time?

.@thehill yeah, that 'being quiet' thing will last about 8 seconds. president narcissist is addicted to people telling him how great he is.

@HeyTammyBruce @thehill It is not in his DNA to be quiet. He will continually insert himself and fawning MSM will report.
