Jim Carrey might have kicked off the week with his attention-grabbing “Cold Dead Hand” music video, but by Friday the precious flower was threatening to sue “Fux News” for slander. Of course, Carrey’s entire video was essentially an attempt to slander the late Charlton Heston, which each chorus kicking off with the line, “Charlton Heston movies are no longer in demand.”
Heston can no longer defend himself, obviously, so there’s something beautifully poetic in the week ending with a Charlton Heston movie very much in demand. It’s Easter weekend, so TV viewers across the nation settled down on the couch to enjoy that beloved holiday classic, “Dumb and Dumber.” No, it was that other holiday classic.
Hey @jimcarrey , Charleton Heston is on TV. Guess what; He's Moses! Must still be in demand, 45 years later!

Watching "Ten Commandments" with Charlton Heston. Such a classic film…Wish we had more like it.

Watching the Charleton Heston version of The Ten Commandments just to spite @JimCarrey… Oh, and because it is a great portrayal of Moses.

@JimCarrey Hurry jim, 10 commandments on abc, acting class open, Heston says you can sit on front row, do it now before your next flop.

@JimCarrey I'm watching The Ten Commandments, because Charlton Heston makes epic movies, you just make movies I wish I could un-see.

Every Easter, Chuck Heston in The Ten Commandments is on TV. When The Mask is on every Halloween, then Jim Carrey can talk.

Despite Carrey’s feeble attempt to link gun ownership to “shooting blanks” and impotence, it doesn’t appear that Moses had anything to worry about in that department.

The Ten Commandments: because even a biblical Charleton Heston needs to be shirtless as much as possible.
