Here’s a tweet that slipped past us Tuesday. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been known to shelve reality completely in favor of a good sound bite. Does she actually believe the things she says? We’d rather she just be lying. Just a couple of months ago she claimed that China is one of the freest societies in the world and that the Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act would make Mother Earth less angry.
As Twitchy reported Tuesday, Pelosi told Andrea Mitchell that she dismissed polls showing that Americans were concerned about worsening inflation and crime (fine by us). Sometime during that same interview, she claimed that President Joe Biden has done a spectacular job and has had a better two years than most presidents that you can name from this generation. That must be why his poll numbers are hovering around 40 percent.

Inflation is at its highest point in 40 years, we’re funding a proxy war with Russia, and OPEC just told Biden to pound sand … we realize Biden had that “string of wins” in August, but that momentum lasted less than a month. And that’s with control of the House and the Senate, which he won’t have for much longer.
