Here’s something rich: MSNBC’s Katy Tur, who once compared journalists to firefighters, on Tuesday told the network’s Ken Dilanian not to refer to Fox News and The Daily Caller as journalists: “Don’t use that term,” she scolded.

Yes, this is the same Katy Tur who didn’t push back when fact-challenged “Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff told her, “If it rings true, it is true;” instead, she agreed that much of the book “feels true.”

So this was quite the sight Monday:

Here’s the video:

That headline, by the way, reads, “MSNBC Issues Huge Correction To Michael Cohen ‘Wiretap’ Story.”

By the way, Dilanian was the one who broke that story.

The Daily Caller’s Joe Simonson wasn’t done:

Rather than have you click away, here are The Daily Caller headlines referenced in the tweet above:

  • MSNBC’s Katy Tur Mistakes Fireworks In Jerusalem For ‘Shelling’
  • The Amount of Misinformation Katy Tur Put out During This Gun Rant Is Mind-Boggling
  • MSNBC’s Katy Tur and Her Twitter Followers Mock Americans Excited Over Tax Cuts and Bonuses
  • Katy Tur Questions Whether the Constitution Should Be Interpreted as Is

Oh, and here’s where we’d put Tur’s completely false tweet from February about the funding of the Steele dossier if she hadn’t deleted it; here’s the text:

Another reminder — Steele Dossier was first paid for by conservative outlet Washington Free Beacon to find damaging info about Trump during the primary in order to help other GOP candidates. REMEMBER — the GOP DID NOT WANT Trump to win the nomination.

Um, no: Steele wasn’t brought in until after the Clinton campaign and the DNC hired Fusion GPS, so no, The Free Beacon didn’t pay for the dossier. Hey, we’re not even journalists and we know that.

Just for fun, here’s Ken Dilanian’s big BOOM exclusive report…

… that called for a — BOOM — big correction:

Sure, let them decide who gets to be called journalists.

“‘I Don’t Know What You’re Referring To’: NBC’s Katy Tur Doesn’t Remember Obama Promising Putin ‘Flexibility.’”

And we’re supposed to feel democracy is threatened whenever Trump refers to the “fake news media.”
