Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed hopes a truly cringey campaign commercial will help propel him into the U.S. Senate this November. The asinine ad is called ‘Senate Island.’
El-Sayed seems to fancy himself a political sex symbol starring in a cheesy reality show. (WATCH)
Abdul El-Sayed dropped a sexualized U.S. Senate ad called “Senate Island” to sell his socialist platform in the most perverted and un-American way possible. pic.twitter.com/Vjby2a5uvN

Who is he winking at?
— KCinQC (@qc_cin) September 1, 2026
WHY is he dancing and posing with a football? 🤣🤣
Nothing says I’m a “servant leader” like a Love Island style campaign ad 🤮
— Clare Anne Ath (@clareanneath) September 1, 2026
‘Do you like piña coladas, and socialism in the sand?’
Posters say they’ve seen this commercial aesthetic before.
El-Sayed campaign manager: "Let's get the Jaguar ad people to do our ads. They did wonders for Jaguar!" pic.twitter.com/xstsGeixgU

I’ve said it before but the coming tsunami of influencer style, millennial coded political campaigning is going to be so brain dead and cringe. And it’s also going to work on a lot of people, unfortunately.

They’re going to be geared towards the TikTok generation and look and sound horrible.
Commenters say El-Sayed’s video doesn’t measure up to Robert Reich’s. (WATCH)
We already know that highly sexualized political ads from socialists don’t work, we have a major example from the recent past as proof pic.twitter.com/rGAZi1ai71 https://t.co/lghe1ZVijf

Amazing thing about this video from Robert Reich is you can see why the Lollipop Guild kicked him out
— Tommy (New account) (@TommyTheSting) September 1, 2026
Reich will always be a little sucker.
Posters don’t understand how El-Sayed is currently up four points over Republican Mike Rogers in the polls.
How is this race even competitive?
— Justin (@JustinUSA) September 1, 2026
Unfortunately we’re a 50-50 state. Half of the voters here will happily vote for an Islamist with napoleon syndrome. We just need enough sane voters to reject him.
— Cucker Tarlson (@LadChabawr) September 1, 2026
It’s an ad for the liberals. His muslim base will vote for him based on his name. The ad is for the libs.
— MissusTruth1776 (@MissusTruth) September 1, 2026
Specifically liberal women. That's who this ad is for.
— Vinifera7 (@Vinifera7pt2) September 1, 2026
Oh, and it’s probably working its magic on them. Leftist women will be the death of our nation if patriots don’t counter their votes.
