Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is facing mounting pressure to resign amidst the growing Somali fraud scandal. But the beleaguered Democrat is not letting that stop him from launching the next taxpayer-fleecing boondoggle. Walz and the state’s Democrats are launching a 20-week paid family leave program that is sure to be riddled with fraud and corruption.
Walz is proud of the plan. (WATCH)
🚨 WTF?! Tim Walz just DOUBLED DOWN on giving Somalis and migrants 20 weeks of free paid leave, allowing RAMPANT fraud, thanking "Senator Mohamed" for passing it.

LITERALLY A 3RD WORLD COUNTRY.
Shut this law down NOW.pic.twitter.com/vfjcb7GTkH
Yep. It’s blatant fraud. Walz deserves jail.

One doesn’t have to be a genius to know this new program will be abused on a massive scale.
Walz was a mess before the fraud scandal broke; his new program doesn’t inspire confidence.
This is exactly the kind of policy decision that makes ordinary people feel like their leaders have completely lost touch with reality.
Twenty weeks of taxpayer-funded paid leave, expanded to migrants with minimal safeguards, in a system already struggling with verification and fraud — and then openly celebrating it? That’s not compassion. That’s recklessness.

Oh, he thanked Senator Mohamed for stealing 20 weeks worth of salary from the employers they want to tax more of, huh? Did someone forget to tell Senator Mohamed that "money trees" don't actually exist? Tsk-tsk-tsk. BTW, what in the world are all those daycares going to do?
— The Archiver (@NIWoman71) January 6, 2026
There’s going to be a lot of fraudster Somali daycare ‘employees’ getting paid to sit at home on the taxpayers’ dime.
Walz laughably asserts that those who commit fraud will be discovered and held accountable. Sure, Timmy. (WATCH)
Tim Walz pretends to be a tough anti-fraud crusader:
— Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) January 6, 2026
"If you attempt to try and collect paid family and medical leave illegally, you will be prosecuted and you will be jailed. It's as simple as that."
Imagine expecting anyone to believe this. pic.twitter.com/Jccq5s2Vkc
Walz talking tough on fraud is laughable. After years of waste and giveaways, now he wants us to believe he’s the sheriff? Spare us the theater.
— Matthew Newgarden (@a_newgarden) January 6, 2026
Sure. Now he's Mr. Anti-fraud. 😂
— Ellie A (@EllieGAnders) January 6, 2026
We’re supposed to believe the 'Fraudfather of Minnesota' suddenly cares about rooting out waste and fraud. Hilarious.
Posters say they have seen this movie before.
It reminds me of when OJ said he was going out to find the real killers...lololol

O.J. vows to find the real killer.

Most criminals pretend to be against crime.

He truly ought to resign immediately.
— 🇺🇸✨Brett Kruschke ✞ (@bkru) January 6, 2026
All that has happened, and he's set to govern for yet another year?! Preposterous.
Walz recently announced he’s not seeking a third term. But pressure is building for him to resign now. The likelihood of that happening only grows as more fraud is uncovered and we learn just how deep it goes.
