On Monday, Democrat Jasmine Crockett announced she was seeking the Democrat Party’s U.S. Senate nomination in Texas. The news was met mostly with laughs, but many wondered how Crockett was going to sell herself to voters, given her extensive history of ridiculous statements. Wonder no more - she’s going to lie. Surprise! She’s going to try to pass herself off as a flag-loving patriot.

Crockett’s sudden patriotic pitch will not land with smart voters. Unfortunately, that’s not whose votes she’s seeking. There are plenty of dimwitted Dems who’ll fall for Crockett’s stars and tripe act.
