We’ve seen a handful of Hollywood actors have truly human reactions to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Among those we’ve noticed are: Chris Pratt, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Kennedy, Justine Bateman, and Charlie Sheen. One that’s surprised us the most is actress Jamie Lee Curtis, because her politics are very much on the far left.

Actress and film producer Jamie Lee Curtis breaks down in tears over the death of Charlie Kirk.
"I mean, I disagreed with him on almost every point I ever heard him say..."
"But I believe he was a man of faith, and I hope in that moment when he died, that he felt connected to his faith."
Here's her very emotional reaction. (WATCH)

I agree…but it still stinks that people can’t have a genuine reaction without first couching it that what he believed was abhorrent to them. Why do they always react with condemning the action but then adding a “but”.

We don’t like that either. Just offer your condolences without conditions.
As expected, many posters didn’t believe Curtis was being sincere and instead was putting on a show.
Hard to believe her with her history of calling us all facists Collin.

She’s still an actress we’re not saying that she was wrong with what she said and it’s good that she said it, but the question is are the tears fake?

Don't be taken in by actresses.

The most mentally ill women I have ever met in my life have been leading actresses. pic.twitter.com/ykwAWxogqj
Don’t be fooled by crocodile tears, she called republicans fascists on more than one occasion. She also has a mentally ill son who believes he is a woman.

Shes part of the problem.
At the end of the day she is an actress.

Her political animosity with MAGA doesn’t jibe with what we heard.
Others are giving her the benefit of the doubt and taking her emotional outpouring as genuine.
This was a genuine reaction.

She saw the human being in Charlie, and for that, I respect her.
I agree. This is how you want people to react. We don't have to agree, but we should respect

She is speaking from the heart. Great to see someone has compassion in Democrat party.

It's refreshing. It's very, very important to remember this isn't a fight against Left vs Right, it's a fight of good vs evil.

Curtis clearly genuinely feels for Charlie and his family, even though she doesn't share the same political beliefs.
Charlie Kirk’s assassination is having profound effects on people who didn’t even know him until they heard of his tragic passing. Shouldn’t we hope his death is awakening the humanity in everyone, even those we see as our political enemies? We think that’s what Kirk would want.
