Yesterday, Democratic Rep. Ayanna Pressley explained why she cannot in good conscience support the idea of a bipartisan House Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party. Basically, it would be racist and also possibly get people killed:

It’s pretty ironic that Pressley would profess to be extremely concerned about a committee putting lives at risk when she is so willing to dismiss concerns about violent attacks on crisis pregnancy centers, which make a point of trying to protect lives that are at risk. But, well, intellectual dishonesty comes so naturally to Ayanna Pressley that she really can’t help herself:

It’s been fascinating — infuriating, but fascinating — to watch pro-aborts contort themselves into pretzels in order to make crisis pregnancy centers the enemy as opposed to the people who vandalize crisis pregnancy centers and threaten violence against the people who work there.
