Count CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin among those disappointed by last night’s Democratic presidential debate. Nobody even talked about the Supreme Court!
Tonight's debate is further proof that Democrats do not care about the Supreme Court as much as Republicans do. The Court, and judicial nominations, was not mentioned once. #CNNDebate

Not even once. Well, except for that one time …
Mayor Pete mentioned it (expanding the court to reform)

This is a dumb criticism in the first place– they weren't asked about it!– but it's also just wrong. Buttigieg promised to "depoliticize the Supreme Court with structural reform."https://t.co/EzL2EXVaJF

Let’s go to the videotape:
TFW you apparently didn’t watch the debatepic.twitter.com/1jIy0Oaaae https://t.co/JG3Wdv7YKw

Just the CNN chief legal analyst missing a major legal proposal made in the CNN debate…
— Alex Griswold (@HashtagGriswold) July 31, 2019
And missing the fact that his CNN colleagues were the ones moderating the debate.
To be fair, @cnn – which ran this debate – asked exactly zero questions about the Supreme Court.

Doesn’t that lay at the feet of cnn ?
— Shirley debalsi (@ShirleyDebalsi) July 31, 2019
Isn't it actually proof that CNN doesn't want to talk about those issues? The candidates didn't write the questions, did they? Or are they supposed to charge the moderators and take over the questioning, too?
— John Panzer (@jpanzer) July 31, 2019
Why don’t you talk to your pals @CNN about that . Last time I checked the candidates weren’t writing the questions. This debate sucked thanks to @CNN #fail

D’oh.
Maybe Lemon isn’t the dumbest man on tv…
