Since even before the midterms were over, there’s been no shortage of explainers and thinkpieces about how white people — particularly conservative white women — are responsible for the underwhelming Blue Wave.
There’s also no shortage of conservative white women who are sick and tired of being blamed every time the Left doesn’t get what they want. Tweeter @hboulware is one of them, and earlier today, she pushed back at the Left’s bullsh*t — and sexist — narrative:
I want lower taxes, slashed regulations on business and markets, to choose my own healthcare and how it’s paid for, a federal gov’t that’s so small I barely know it exists, a culture that values life.

I don’t want more govt bureaucracy, more and more spending, more regulations, more unsustainable programs that hurt the people they’re supposed to help. I don’t want or need anyone to tell me what to eat, drink, wear, think, read, watch, believe, or when to do those things

I’m a grown woman who has raised 3 incredible children and I damn sure don’t need patronizing lectures from other white women about my privilege and how my very existence is harmful.

I’ve worked for minimum wage, I’ve been poor, I’ve lived paycheck to paycheck, I’ve had countless sleepless nights worried about how to pay rent and buy food.

I’ve faced a very uncertain future with 3 small children after the death of their father. So do not presume to lecture me about my privilege and my supposed lack of empathy. It’s offensive and insulting.

Heather, I voted the way I voted in 2016 for these very reasons. I am so extremely tired of being identified by by arrogant, smug, condescending assholes. The left doesn’t know me and they don’t care to learn. They just label me and move on.

It drives me nuts. They keep saying you should vote this way or that way because you are a woman.. they fought for our right to vote… YES! They fought for my right to vote and to THINK for myself!!
— Betsy Elder (@tigermom4ever) November 8, 2018
Exactly.
What you should do is….keep owning the libs.
