Is there something in the water out there in Colorado? Is it the altitude? Last Friday, Rep. Joe Salazar moronically suggested that women are too emotional to be trusted with guns for self-defense and recommended protection like whistles and call boxes to potential rape victims. As it turns out, Salazar isn’t the only Colorado Democrat guilty of speaking while stupid. At that same debate, Rep. Paul Rosenthal proposed some grade-A, surefire alternatives to shooting a rapist:
What’ve you got to worry about, ladies? If you’re too scared to vomit on yourself or get your period, you can quickly learn a martial art or just get yourself a buddy!
