Back before everything got completely stupid, Adam Kinzinger seemed like he had the makings of a better-than-decent Republican representative. Particularly from a blue sinkhole like Illinois.
But then Donald Trump happened, and, love him or hate him, he got purported Republicans and conservatives to reveal their true natures. Some of them lurched to the far Right, of course. But others, like Kinzinger, decided that the best way to conserve conservatism was to become a liberal. Especially if you could make money off of it.

Well, if you think about it, Adam Kinzinger also seems to be denying that, between him and Ron DeSantis, he’s the joke. So it makes sense that he’d deny a lot of stuff. Especially that he’s a full-blown, bona fide liberal Democrat.
