Once Hollywood’s rampant sexual predation problem became common knowledge, a lot of Americans wondered how the Oscars — probably the most important night in Hollywood — would address it. At last, tonight, after Common’s liberal talking point poetry slam, we all got our answer:
It's nice of Hollywood to take a break from patting itself on the back to play a video patting itself on the back. #Oscars

Come on … you didn’t actually think they’d take responsibility for allowing this sexually predatory culture to flourish unchecked, did you?
We need a wokeness montage!
MONTAGE!
A woke Hollywood montage!#Oscars— NeoN: Automataster (@neontaster) March 5, 2018
That montage of wokeness almost put me to sleep.

And it wasn’t even truly woke!
They’re talking about “this moment” and they’re talking about “hypocrisy.”
You know what they’re not saying?
Sexual harassment.
Or, like, “rape.”
Harvey Weinstein doesn’t get a mention.

This is amazing. Hollywood is turning decades of sexual oppression into a celebration of the industry.

If by amazing you mean completely expected then yes I would agree https://t.co/f8CeRQL90X

And speaking of amazing in a not-even-a-little-bit-amazing sense:

Guess not. Rose McGowan doesn’t care how woke Hollywood thinks it is; she knows the truth … because she’s lived it.
Hollywood: stop protecting abusers. Your evening clothes are not enough. Be better. You influence the world. You owe us all. #RoseArmy

Especially since they gave a rapist an Oscar tonight.

Hollywood is as big a joke — and enabler — as it ever was.
