CNN spent days letting Abigail (SPAM-BURGER) Spanberger run with the emotionally charged claim that Trump’s mail-in ballot crackdown would leave U.S. troops overseas unable to vote.

So seeing Wolf Blitzer shuffle out a “quick note of clarification” once it became painfully obvious the premise was false feels very much like “too little, too late.”

A comment I made suggested that U.S. military and overseas voters' ballots would be impacted by these directives. I want to be clear right now: those ballots are exempt from the Postal Service’s new rules implementing the president’s March executive order. Those groups are covered under the Uniformed and Overseas Absentee Voting Act, just to be specific on that point.”
Military and overseas ballots are explicitly exempt under longstanding federal law, a fact that somehow escaped both the anchor and his guest until the network had already spent a weekend amplifying the scare. The belated walk-back is now making the rounds as yet another example of the network discovering basic facts only after the narrative had already done its work.

On Friday's installment of "The Situation Room," Blitzer sat down with Democratic Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger to discuss the lawsuit the commonwealth filed alongside other blue states to block President Donald Trump's executive order from March to curb mail-in voting, which was slapped with a 14-day temporary restraining order last week by a federal judge.
"The continued attacks that we're seeing from the Trump administration is really just an effort to get people fearful, to get people to stay home, and, in many cases, to eliminate what is a valid, safe, secure way for people to be able to have their voices heard and to vote," Spanberger said.

Unfortunately, CNN only clarified after they knew the damage was done and the 12 mouth-breathers who still bother with their network are already out and about claiming Trump hates the troops and doesn't want the to vote and that's why he's BLOCKING MAIL-IN VOTING.
And the other mouth-breathers they hang out with will believe it because, well, they're mouth-breathers.
So yes, too little, too late.
