I swear, some days I wake up and wonder how we got to a place where basic reality is optional, and then a guy like Royce White comes along and reminds me why I still love this job.
Here we are on primary day in Minnesota, and the former NBA player running for the GOP Senate nomination just served up the kind of response that makes lefty heads explode in the best way possible.
Some Democrat who’d previously “cooked” him on Stephen A. Smith’s show decided to take a few cheap shots online, calling him a buffoon and wishing him “good luck” while gloating about the polls.

Instead of taking the bait the usual way, Royce flipped the script completely. He leaned all the way into the left’s favorite gender game, declaring he’d been misgendered and deadnamed for days, insisting Black Trans Lives Matter, and demanding everyone call him “kweeeen.” He even threw in the full “slayyyy” energy for good measure.
This is the content we need more of. For years we’ve been told that biological men can just decide they’re women, that pronouns are sacred, and that questioning any of it makes you a bigot. So when a 6-foot-8 Black man who once played pro ball decides to play their game right back at them, it’s pure comedy gold. The same crowd that loses its mind over “misgendering” suddenly has nothing to say when the target is a conservative who refuses to play nice.
Keep shining, “kweeeen.” The rest of us are over here laughing our heads off and rooting for the chaos.
