The state of the driver is unclear. A young man was taken alive from the car. It is unknown whether the person removed was the driver of the car or a passenger.

As far as I can tell, a car drove the wrong way up a one way street.

I don't know the race of the driver. Doesn't really matter.
I just watched white cops shoulder to shoulder with Black cops to keep everyone from seeing that they opened fire on a busy city street over a moving violation.

From witnesses. It seems that the driver may have been impaired and may have been in danger of hitting someone.
Witnesses state that the force used was still wholly unnecessary.

Every Black person I talked to said that NOLA police are particularly murderous.
