'Never heard a campaign rally in Gaelic.' Ted Cruz BLASTS the AP for claiming Beto O'Rourke rallied in his 'native Spanish'

Ted Cruz has been busy kicking the media lately … and who could blame him with all the silliness they seem to keep reporting. It’s almost as if the media can’t get out of their own way. Granted, the AP did correct the story where they claimed Beto O’Rourke did his campaign rally in his ‘native Spanish’ but by that point, it was already too late.

An entire campaign rally in Gaelic could be interesting, Robert Francis O’Rourke should try it next time.

From the Washington Examiner:

The Associated Press faced backlash on social media Monday after writing that Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke spoke “in his native Spanish” at a rally in El Paso, Texas.

Although O’Rourke speaks Spanish, he a fourth-generation Irish-American whose full name is Robert Francis O’Rouke.

The AP report originally wrote: “O’Rourke also spoke at length in his native Spanish, eliciting loud and sustained cheers.”

After the criticism, AP appended a correction to its story, reading: “In a story March 31 about a Beto O’Rourke campaign rally, The Associated Press reported erroneously that O’Rourke spoke to a rally in his native Spanish. O’Rourke is not a native Spanish speaker.”

Duh.

Oof. Beto is a man of the people!

Or something.

But hey, Democrats, good luck with that whole ignoring that Beto is just another rich white guy running for president thing.
