Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is learning the hard way what it’s like when you actually start to grow up. From whining that she couldn’t afford an apartment in D.C. because she wasn’t getting paid her exorbitant salary as a member of Congress yet to sharing the deets of selecting her new insurance plan, it’s painfully clear that she is truly clueless about what it’s like for most Americans in this country.
In my on-boarding to Congress, I get to pick my insurance plan.
As a waitress, I had to pay more than TWICE what I’d pay as a member of Congress.
It’s frustrating that Congressmembers would deny other people affordability that they themselves enjoy. Time for #MedicareForAll.

Yes, Alexandria, government involvement in healthcare sucks. You figured it out.
But her solution for fixing the problem of government destroying our healthcare is MORE government involvement.
Democrats. *eye roll*
1. TFW @Ocasio2018 suddenly realizes she doesn’t like paying #Obamacare’s pre-existing condition tax.
2. @Ocasio2018 finally discovered Congress gave itself an illegal subsidy so they can pay that tax – and thinks giving that to everyone will “solve” the problem… https://t.co/0dExB7cRQk

There’s the boomage.
If Congress would have had to participate in Obamacare it NEVER would have passed. Both sides did what was best for themselves.

Let's let her keep going. She may be able to sweet talk Congress out of their salary. At least the media makes it sound like she's going to move mountains. She already sold her vote for Nancy in exchange for something.

If nothing else she is the gift that keeps on giving for Republicans.
I also love how she sees no difference in the costs added to private business which cut into profits and subsidies provided to Congress from 300 M Americans. What a piece of work!

Socialism, folks.
The ‘only affordable for congress care act…’
Just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Shows why she is loved by Republicans. Never stops to think

Hey man, we didn’t elect her.
Perhaps someone should explain to her that most jobs provide subsidized health benefits. I only pay $90 per month with the rest being paid for by my employer. My taxes would go up substantially and I would lose this subsidy under single payer.

Dude, don’t use math, it will only confuse her.
Unfortunately, I'm sure she doesn't realize any of those things.

Which would be hilarious if it wasn’t so damn terrifying.
