This is a BAAAAAD point! CNN commentator tries dragging Republicans over Mississippi, trips HARD over Democrats

Considering how many years Democrats have spent running the state of Mississippi, we’re not sure this take from CNN commentator, Keith Boykin, was a good one.

Mississippi has had:
• Republicans senators for 30 years
• Republican governors for 14 years

And yet Mississippi has the:
• highest poverty rate
• highest infant mortality rate
• 3rd highest unemployment rate
• 3rd highest incarceration rate

We get what he’s trying to do here, to pretend that somehow Republicans and their evil policies of cutting taxes and putting people back to work have ruined the state but the reality is the GOP only very recently took over the ‘governance’ of Mississippi.

We know we know!

Legislature wasn't Republican until 2012. And it's unclear how those problems which have plagued MS for a century (thanks Democrats) were supposed to be fixed in a decade.
